Introduction

Eanam Wharf is a fully refurbished Grade II listed building standing on the banks of the Leeds Liverpool canal. Formerly a canal warehouse the building is now home to the Business Development Centre. The centre offers incubator units for small to medium sized start up business in a managed environment. Facilities available for tenants include full switchboard service, secretarial support, use of kitchen and meeting room facilities.

Conference facilities available for hire include; a large 50 seater conference room and smaller boardroom with audio/visual presentation equipment.

Short-term leases available

The Business Development Centre has 27 units available for hire, ranging from 236 sq ft to 566 sq ft. Most have natural lighting from timber framed windows overlooking the canal. Units are let on a tenancy at will and rental payments are inclusive of business rates, water rates, background heating, insurance of the premises and cleaning/maintenance of the common areas. Centre facilities include photocopying, laminating, binding, word processing, switchboard, fax and mail collection.

Conference Facilities

A converted waterside building which houses 27 businesses and organisations, ground-floor conference room and boardroom facilities available for hire plus central reception and support services. (Conference Room charges are from £150 per day, and the Boardroom from £90 per day). Refreshments can be provided to suit all tastes in separate buffet room, or visitors can go to The Wharf pub in the same complex.
